Walking Kodi
So I totally need to blog about this before it gets forgotten. Kodi walked on Thursday, September 16th 2010. She was just sitting on the floor in our living room then she stood up and walked 3 steps and she sat down. Andrew and I just watched her in shock. She is almost 8 months. As of right now she has not done it again because she is sick and has other things to worry about. But I just thought it is so cool that my awesome little girl is growing up so fast.

Andrew is the Best
Just so everone knows Andrew is the best husband ever. And I love him very much. On Wednesday I was having kind of a slow, boring day at work. I left my desk and went down the hall to the conference room and when I returned there were a dozen roses left for me on my desk. Now usually Andrew is not one for surprises but believe me this surprise was very welcome. Now I am not just saying he is the best because he bought me a gift. He also helps me out a ton and he is a great father and Kodi loves him to death.
Ok now I am going off on a little story of something Kodi did last night that was really funny. Andrew went to help his parents move into their new house so I did not want to be all by myself at home so I went to my Mom and Dad's house for a little visit. We were all hanging out down stairs and Kodi was playing with my cell phone. And then she had it right next to her mouth and started yelling... DADDA DADDA DADDA!!!! and then she would grunt and start yelling again. It was so funny. Usually when one of us is gone and we call the other we let Kodi talk on the phone and last night she really wanted to talk to her Dad. Love that little girl.
I don't know if I have done an update on her lately. But as usual she is getting big. She will be eight months on the 24. I cannot believe she is so old. She can almost walk on her own and she pulls herself up on everything. She is a tease and she loves to be chased. She will go to get into something that she knows she shouldn't and we ask her what she is doing and she turns her head smiles and then takes off giggling. She is really long and is wearing some 18 months sizes. I don't know if she will ever stop growing. She is able to pick up cheerios up all by her self and she loves them. She likes to watch things drop on the floor and if we give her anything to play with in her high chair it usually ends up on the floor. Yesterday she was a little sick, well she had a temperature of 102 and this morning she woke up really early but just to get into bed with me and cuddle. I love those mornings. I am usually late for work but I totally love them. But I am told that she is feeling better and she playing like a crazy woman at grandma Nash's house.
Other than that life is going good. Andrew and I are just super busy between work, our callings, family, house work, and Kodi. But we would not change anything as long as we get to be together.

Another week has passed
So this week was kind of eventful. We both worked like usual and when we got home we dedicated our time to baby Kodi. On Friday we went to Utah for some fun. We took a dryer to Andrew's brother's family in Ogden and then we went on to Salt Lake to see Amy, Andrew's sister. On Saturday we went to some of Nikki's volleyball games at Salt Lake Community College. It was super fun to watch Nikki. I have not seen her play ever before and she is really good. Then we went to Garden Village, I think that is what it is called, and did some shopping. We also ate at an Astro Burger. Andrew really like that. We also got to drive out and see Andrews's oldest brother brand new house. It is super nice and the carpet is amazing. All in all we have had a great week and we hope that the next one is just as good. :)
