Eat until you drop.

Holy smokes my children eat like crazy. I am not kidding they eat so much that I might have to put a lock on my kitchen. Yea right! So this last week I went to the grocery store and loaded us up since I have not been in like a month. I bought some apples. 5 to be exact. I was a little lazy and I left them on the counter instead of putting them in the fridge. Well I went about my day and did not think about the apples again. Until Andrew asked me where all the apples went. I was a little confused I didn't do anything with the apples, remember I was being lazy. Well come to find out our little Kodi had eaten 3.5 of the apples and Maren ate the other .5. Little monster. Then the very next day my mom had given us some cookies. I am pretty sure that there were 6 on the plate. I ate one and I left the plate on the counter (I should have learned my lesson) Then like 2 hours later Andrew askes me where all the cookies are. Again I only ate one so where did the other 5 cookies go. Oh our little cookie monsters munched all those cookies. Its like my children have hollow legs. Where do they put all that food. I am just glad that they like to play and dance to burn all that sugar off. Sweet Kodi did something this week that made me one proud momma. We were watching my friends little girl P.J. who is 9 months old and is a little sweet heart. Well we were eating lunch and Kodi asked for seconds, so of course I gave her some more food (I am telling you she eats a ton!) She asked if she could say a second prayer. So I let her. This is her prayer "Dear Heavenly Father, Thankyou for this day, thankyour for the food, thankyou for a mom that plays with me and is fun, and thank your for letting P.J. come over and play....." then she finished her prayer and I was so happy that she said her own prayer (she is only 2 remember) and that she is glad that I am her mom. I know that I have left Maren out of this Post but this was just a funny Kodi week I guess. There will be more Maren adventures to come I am sure. :)

October......

Well I guess I lied. Last time I was on blogger I said that I would be better about updating my blog and that was way back in like June or July. A lot has happened since then and way too many funny stories of my little girls to even try and remember. So I will just go over what I have on my crazy mind right now. I love Fall. It is just a nice time of the year. The trees are so pretty and the temperature is nice and cool. It just gets me in the mind of Thanksgiving and Christmas. I was at Fred Meyer the other day and they had a Halloween section, a Thanksgiving section and a Christmas section. And sorry for all you haters out there but I loved it. I am not ready for Christmas music yet but I just love this time of the year. I get to spend so much time with my little ones now that work has slowed down for me and I just enjoy every minute we have together. Maren is my little sweet heart and I just love her so much. She is like a little Ashley. She and I just snuggle and laugh and have so much fun together. She is the calmer one of the two girls but at the same time she is sneeky and always gets her way. She is just so much fun. Every day around 3:30-4:00 she just feels like running. So she runs and laughs and talks to her self in our living room. She goes laps and laps around the room and it is so fun to watch her. She also loves her big sister. Lately I have had to be the mean mom at nap time. The girls take a nap at the same time in the same room. But recently Kodi has been climbing into Marens crib and they just laugh and play and have so much fun. I have to be a kill joy and put Kodi back into her own bed so that they both can have a rest. I am so glad that they are such good friends. I was so worried that they would be really mean to each other. I never had a sister so I have no idea how that dynamic works. But now I wish I would of had a friend to play with. Kodi is also a little Ashley. Imagine that. They both have certain parts of my personality that I just look at them during the day and think "YEP I gave them that". Usually its not a good thing. But I am so happy that they are mine. We are still working on potty training Kodi and it is just not working. I really such at potty training. Seriously she is going to be 3 in Jaunary and she needs to get her butt going on the potty. I have tried everything. She is stubborn like her Dad. (yeah thats who I will say she gets it from) I think I have given up a little. She is driving me crazy. I hope Maren is not this hard. If she is Kill me now. Kodi is a wild little woman I sometimes get worried that other people think I need to get a better handle on her. But she acts the same everywhere we go. She is just happy and energetic. She never walks anywhere. She either jumps, skips, hops or runs everywhere she goes. I am not kidding the next time you see her check her out. I cannot keep up with her. The other day the girls and I were talking about Aunt Lisa and Aunt Riley and the fact that they are going to have babies in January. It is a special month at our house since Kodi's birthday is also in Jaunary. Kodi was asking about the babies and I told her that they are in her aunts bellies. She gives me this disgusted look and said "thats sick Mom, why would they put the babies in their bellies?" So then I had to explain that they grow inside there mommy's. She was still a little freaked out so we went online and watched a few videos on babycenter.com. In the video it says that the embryo's look like a little like worms so now Kodi always talks about her new cousins being worms. Pretty funny that kid. I know that there are a ton of other fun things that have happened to us in the last few months but this post is getting long enough. I love my little family and I am so proud of my little girls. They just brighten my day. Andrew and I are really blessed.
