Bear Lake and Baby Blessing

This weekend was such a great one. Andrew and I got off work on Friday and we rushed to Bear Lake to finally see Kodi after a long day away from her. She was having a great day with her grandparents riding in the truck then riding in the boat. We went to Bear Lake for a Payton Family gathering. Most of us stayed at this really great cabin that had an awesome view of the lake. We got to play rock band, water ski, ride the tube, play in the sand, play minute to win it and spend some quality time with the family. Andrew, Kodi and I had so much fun.

On Sunday we got to get back in the car and drive to Ogden to our neice Kaitlyn's blessing. She is 4 weeks old and Kodi is a giant next to her. Lost of the Tolmans were there to support Michael and Jami. They are so awesome and I love every time we get to go to their house. Kodi really enjoyed watching her cousins play in the sand box and on the swing set. She laughed so hard at Reed and Briggs scaring her. She is just a happy fun little girl.

My Mom asked me if I was keeping track of all the things that Kodi has been doing over the last 5 months. Oh yea on the 24th she turned 5 months old!!! I really have not been writing everything down but I do have this blog. So hopefully one day Kodi will be able to read this and know that she is always on my mind and that I love her dearly.

This is a long post and it really needs some pictures but those will come later.
July is going to be a very busy month full of family visits and hopefully this next week we will move into our new apartment. So I am planning on writing at least once a week and posting fun new pictures each time.

Bad weekend turned good

Well this Fathers Day weekend was not the best. But it was Andrew's first official one as a fathers, so that was nice. The bad part started friday night. I was leaving my eye doctors and I accidentially backed into some one else that was also backing up. Bad deal. The wife was really mean and I wanted to punch her in the face. :) But I was a good person and didn't do anything. However I do have her address so who knows.... J/K Then on saturday we my parents took Kodi and I, plus Morgan and Nikki boating. There were many problems such as: dead battery, boat cover ripping off, losing Kodi's life jacket, boat not starting, rain, hail, wind, waves, cold water and getting into a little family fight. But once we finally were able to start skiing life got better. I even got up on my first try even though it has been 2 years since the last time I got to go skiing. Fathers day was nice, the weather was wonderful. Andrew and I even took the dogs and Kodi for a little stroll around the neighborhood.

I know that this next weekend will be a lot better. We are going to a family get to gether in Bear Lake for my side and then on Sunday our neice on the Tolman side is getting blessed. It should be really fun spending time with the extended family. Hopefully the weather is nice.

Its been a month

Well it has been a month since we moved from Las Cruces and so many things have happened. We are still living with my parents.... no comment. Ha Ha. Both Andrew and I have jobs. Thank goodness. I am working at the 4-H office as the 4-H secretary and Andrew was working at LOWES but today he got a better job at a place called Norco. More money and a better schedule are always nice. Kodi is just growing and being such a good little girl. She now has two teeth and she chatters all the time. We really love listening to her talk. She has such a great personality. But now I am going to share some picture so enjoy. :)
