Rant

Previously I had posted some thing I was thinking when I was really really really angry. Now that I have calmed down I have decided to delete that post. I know that one day I would really regret it if I left that the way it was.

27th

So yesterday was Andrew's 27th birthday. For his birthday he got the opportunity to move his parents from Jackson Hole back to Pocatello. Hopefully this is the last move for them. We are super happy to have them so close. Since there was family coming into town we had a little birthday dinner for Andrew the day before his actual birthday and we all had a lot of fun. Then for Andrew's birthday night (when he finally got back from moving) we had a Gilmore Girls type meal. We got pizza and chinese food and also some ice cream and we watched a movie. It was totally fun and it was what Andrew wanted to do for his birthday so it worked out nicely.

Ha ha kinda funny while Andrew was helping move I went shopping and then boating. Kodi was with me of course and we had tons of fun. Idaho Falls had lots of good deals for Kodi's size of clothes which was really nice. Then we went out to American Falls, my parents got a new boat that is more baby friendly. Which is way nice for Kodi and I. We had fun while Andrew worked. :)

Another little funny thing. I wrote Payton on his mission and I was telling him my worries about our new ward and making friends and he totally wrote back a missionary response. He was all "Ashley you don't need friends you have family. The family are your eternal friends, plus you have the holy ghost as your constant companion". Totally not what Payton would have said to me pre mission. But I love that he is thinking that way. Plust it really cracks me up. Gotta love him.

Livestock Judging

So over the last two days I have been in Randolph, UT judging their county fair. And it was really fun. I had no idea that I would enjoy getting paid for sharing my opinion so much. I judged everything... even chickens and rabbits. I know nothing about chickens and rabbits. But hey I was the judge so my decision was final. It was the perfect 1st county fair for me to judge. There were only 28 sheep, 20 hogs, 15 steers, and 9 goats. I was really scared about talking on the microphone but after a few classes I think I got the hang of it. (hopefully).

The one huge down side was that I had to go all by my self. I think it was the first night I have spent away from Kodi since she got out of the hospital. But she was in really really good hands. Andrew and Kodi are so great together. Right now as I am writing this they are sitting on the couch fast asleep together. They are so much alike I love it. Friday nights are great. Just sitting at home with the ones you love knowing that you don't need to do anything productive for at least 12 or more hours. I love my little family so much and I don't know what I would do with out them. It seems like the 40 hours that I was away made me recognize how great I have it and that I never want to lose the amazing little family that I have... even Roxie. :)

Krawling Kodi

So I just realized that I have not posted about Kodi's new achievement. SHE IS A CRAWLING FOOL. She is getting so fast and is finding new things everyday to get into. And she is only 6 1/2 months old. I love her so much and I am amazed at how smart she is. She also says both momma and daddy in her own language. Momma really comes out like yaya, but I know what she means. And she is always saying HI DAD and it sounds just like that. I think it really makes Andrew happy when she says that over and over again. We just love our awesome little girl so much.!!!!

Chocolate@!!!!!!!!

Well since I had Kodi my eating habits have progressively gotten worse. I used to be really good at working out every day and going on walks and eating really healthy. But since Kodi stopped relying on me for her food all I eat is chocolate. Well that is a bit of an exaggeration but I really do eat some form of the creamy goodness each day. And from what I understand that is not a good thing. Therefore I have decided to go without chocolate for 1 year. Can I do it???? I really hope. Setting this goal is really a good thing to do and then when I achieve it I know it is going to be quite an accomplishment. So wish me luck!

Fair Time

So I know that this is my third post for the day... but I guess I have a lot to say. This week and next week are going to be super busy. This week is the South Bannock County Fair in Downey Idaho and nexxt week is the North Bannock County Fair in Pocatello Idaho. I really enjoy my job but at sometimes it is really stressful and I have only worked there for a few months. I really hope that this week and next go by really quickly so that hopefully my life will slow down and I will get to focus my attentions more on fun things rather than work.

Picture time :)

So my amazing sister in law Jami took some family pictures for us. I think they turned out awesome. Kodi even smiled in some of them. If anyone wants some pictures taken I can get you in touch with Jami. She lives in Ogden.

Monday

Wow Mondays sure are a killer. It seems like Andrew and I live out of suit cases each weekend and on Mondays we are just running around trying to find all of what we need for the day. Today was no exception. I was even 5 minutes late for work!

I was just looking at my old posts and at all of Kodi's pictures and she has changed so much over the last 6 months. She can now sit up, roll over, try to crawl, and even stand up while holding onto something for support. I really need to weigh her and find out really how large she is. I really love my little girl. We have so much fun together. She is so beautiful and her smile warms my heart each and every day.

I am at work right now and I am really missing not being at home with her.
