Presidents Day Weekend

We had a great weekend. Thank goodness for our wonderful family. On Friday we drove down to Lehi to visit Rich and Jen. Amy was also there which made the trip extra fun. On Saturday Andrew and Rich went to the Temple super early while Kodi and I slept in. It was so nice to not get out of bed until 8:30. Andrew even washed and cleaned my truck for me this weekend. Once the men had returned the women went shopping. Which I spent far too much, but we went to Hobby Lobby. How can someone go into that store and not find some thing to buy? I know for a fact every time I go in there I come out with an arm full of stuff. We also went to JCPenny where Jeanie found some super cute skirts and a dress. We also went to a really cool store called Rod Works. I have never been in there but I am sure I will make another stop the next time I am close to one. They have some super cute things. If only I had a house to decorate. :)

On Sunday we went to Rich and Jen's ward. I was able to sit and listen to all of sunday school and relief society since Kodi fell asleep on Andrew. It was so nice. It made me think that in a few years when I kids are big enough to be in primary I will be able to actually enjoy going to church again. Not that I don't like going now. I just have a very active child that would rather twirl around than sit on a pew and pay attention. Which for her age it totally understandable. The only problem is I hate getting those looks from everyone else, the looks that say "whats wrong with you can't you control your child". In our ward if you make like a tiny sound everyone looks at you and I hate that feeling.

Monday was super productive!!! I got all the laundry done, cleaned the house, made bread, made new dish towels, and played with Kodi. Oh yea and I finished a book. Andrew also helped with everything in between. Kodi even took 2 naps. Both for like and hour and 20 minutes. It was such a wonderful day. I cannot wait until everyday gets to be like that.

We are starting a few new projects so wish us luck. I am going to re-do Kodi and Maren's room, we are trying to put Kodi on a new sleep schedule before the new baby comes, and we are turning into penny pinchers. It will all take a lot of work and planning. So we will see how it turns out.
